Health Exporter privacy policy
Effective 6 November 2026
Health Exporter sends the Apple Health data you choose to the places you choose. Your data never passes through us: there are no servers of ours that receive it, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
What the app reads
With your permission, Health Exporter reads the Apple Health data types you pick, such as steps, heart rate, sleep or workouts. You can change that permission any time in the Health app, under your profile › Apps › Health Exporter. Health Exporter never writes to or changes your Health data.
Where your data goes
Your data goes only to the destinations you set up in the app, directly from your iPhone:
- A webhook or AI agent address you enter. The data is sent to that address. If you enter a plain
http://address outside your local network, the data travels unencrypted; the app warns you when you do this. - Google Drive, Google Sheets or Gmail. Files and spreadsheet rows go to your own Google account, and Gmail sends the export to your own address only.
- Dropbox. Files go to the app's own folder in your Dropbox.
- iCloud Drive or On My iPhone. Files are saved in the app's folder there.
What happens to the data after it arrives is governed by whoever runs that destination, for example your own server, Google or Dropbox.
What stays on your iPhone
Your automations, their run history and your settings are stored on your iPhone. Signing secrets and the sign-in tokens for Google and Dropbox are stored in the iPhone's Keychain. Deleting the app deletes them. We never receive any of it.
Google user data
When you connect a Google account, Health Exporter asks only for what each destination needs: to create and update the files and spreadsheets it makes (drive.file), to send email (gmail.send), and your email address, to show which account is connected. It can't read your other files or your mail.
Health Exporter's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details; Apple tells the app only which plan you have.
Notifications
If you allow them, the app shows notifications created on your iPhone, for example when a sync fails. They are not sent through any server of ours.
Suggesting ideas
"Suggest an idea" opens our public idea board, run by Featurebase, in Safari. Anything you post there is covered by Featurebase's privacy policy, not by the app.
What we don't do
- We don't collect, store or see your Health data or any other personal data.
- We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising or tracking.
- We don't use analytics or third-party SDKs that collect data.
Children
Health Exporter is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, say so in the app's "What's new".
